About Uncle Julio's
In November 1986, the first Uncle Julio’s restaurant opened in Dallas, Texas and it quickly became popular due to its flavorful foods. The dishes here aren’t your usual Tex-Mex creations but a step up, thanks to the combination of fresh Texan ingredients cooked with Mexican cooking expertise. The drinks are also part of its popularity, especially its original margarita known as The Swirl.
Uncle Julio's prices are considered to be a bit higher than normal when it comes to Tex-Mex restaurants.
The authentic Mexican foods offered at every Uncle Julio’s restaurant were created based on original recipes. Only fresh ingredients are used in their preparation to ensure flavorful dishes from the fajitas to the tamales, which are made to order, too. The fajitas are made with aged skirt steak, pico de gallo, and fresh guacamole while the salsas are filled with flavors from the onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños.
The Swirl Margarita is a perfect combination refreshing margarita and frozen sangria, a unique concoction at Uncle Julio’s. There are also a wide range of appetizers, quesadillas, and soups and salads for every taste.
