Runza Menu Prices
About Runza
Alex and Sally Brening founded Runza Drive-Inn in 1949 with their first location in Lincoln, Nebraska. The original menu consisted of a few items including Runza sandwiches, Polish dogs, and pizza burgers, among others. The chain continues to experience a relatively slow yet steady growth through the years – it has more than 80 locations as of 2017 in Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas.
The Runza prices can be considered as mid-range but the foods are affordable enough for most consumers. Besides, the Runza sandwiches are so good that diners are willing to pay for them; these are unique sandwiches made of pastry filled with flavor-filled ground beef, onions, and cabbage. The ground beef is the core of the sandwich – perfectly seasoned with the chain's proprietary spice blend before being cooked well.
The signature sandwich is also available in several versions, such as the Original Runza, the Cheese Runza, and the Swiss Mushroom Runza. Don't stop with these sandwiches – be sure to order the burgers, fries, and onion rings, too.
