About Penn Station
The reasonable Penn Station prices are one of the reasons why its customers like to think of its restaurants as the best places for submarines. Jeff Osterfeld opened the first restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1985 and it has grown to more than 15 locations in several states.
Every Penn Station shop offers more than a dozen types of submarine sandwiches from the pre-set subs to the create-your-own subs. The chain also has a made-to-order policy, as well as its practice of making the order in full view of the customer.
The subs are available in several sizes – 4” (kids), 6” (lite), 8” (small), 10” (medium), and 12” (large). These are available as Classic Subs, Chicken Subs, Italian Subs, Cold Subs, and Lighter Options. The fillings for these sandwiches have also been chosen for their premium quality from the USDA steak to the fine cheeses and freshly cut vegetables. The chain also prides itself on hand-cut fries fried in 0% cholesterol peanut oil, freshly baked sourdough bread, freshly squeezed lemonade, and hot-grilled wraps.
